WASHINGTON: ForeFront Strategies has launched in the Washington DC area.  The firm was founded by Craig Veith, a former communications director for the National Republican Congressional Committee, and Scott Williams, a former press secretary for Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT).  The agency has been described as a public affairs shop that has a staff with capabilities in energy, food and consumer products, defense and security, transportation, utilities, and financial services.

BRIEF: Republican counselor Craig Veith and Democratic advisor Scott Williams have formed ForeFront Strategies in Washington. Veith is the former president/CEO of Burson-Marsteller’s Direct Impact unit and comms. director for the National Republican Congressional Committee. Williams is a former press sec. to Sens. Sam Nunn and Max Baucus. He started out as a segment producer for ABC News.

Political operatives open new PR shop — A bipartisan group of political operatives has formed a full-service public relations firm called ForeFront Strategies. To The Forefront — Republican operative Craig Veith has joined Democratic spokesman Scott Williams to form ForeFront Strategies, a new Washington-based public affairs communications firm. “At ForeFront, our clients will work with professionals with substantial portfolios of experience and the smarts to design, build and manage great communications campaigns,” Veith said in a release.  Virginia Democratic operative Jan Hyland will also join the new firm as a co-founder and partner.
